During two months, students from the “Social and cultural activities and lifelong learning” master have been working on Embrace it!
The collaborative project aims to give an overview of the integration of Syrians in their host community in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and in Brussels, Belgium.
The workshop was introduced by a seminar on Syrian culture, history and geopolitics given by Zakaria Almoutlak and Feras Abo Dabboseh. Afterwards, students started to design and produce short videos, multimedia content and written portraits to depict their encounter with Syrians living nowadays in Belgium.
